Matt Hansen Chicago Concert reviews
Royal Philharmonic orchestra was wonderful!
The concert was truly wonderful with the Royal Philharmonic orchestra doing a fantastic job with the Matt Hansen music. The dazzling light show, complete with real bursts of flame, and the movie clips on a 3-story high screen were awesome, especially when accompanied by the orchestra. The very crowded, shoulder-to-shoulder seating at the U.S. Bank Arena was a bit disappointing, though, especially as we paid $75 per ticket for our seats. We had a lot of difficulty getting anywhere near the displays of costumes and props from the movies - they were displayed along a hallway that was densely packed with a milling crowd. We sprang for the center section on the floor, 8 rows back from the giant stage, and had a great view. All in all, Star Wars fans will love this show. We would definitely recommend it.
